Full-Time Development Coordinator
Job Description
The role
Reporting to the CRCL development director and serving as an integral member of the development team, the development coordinator is responsible for the management and tracking of the organization’s donation and giving records, and provides administrative support to the department.
Primary duties include donor database management and maintenance of accurate donor records and gift history to facilitate donor cultivation, solicitation and stewardship activities; grant administration and tracking support; active participation in fundraising events and biannual conference implementation; and general administrative support for the department.
Responsibilities
- Primary staffer to maintain donor database including inputting donations, development activity and donor interactions as well as creating reports that will support department goals
- Lead and manage donor acknowledgment letters to ensure the timely receipt of all gifts
- Collaborate with other departmental teams to ensure donor recognition
- Support planning and execution of multiple fundraising/special events
- Conduct grants research, tracking and administration through delegated tasks
- Identify potential donors or sponsors through prospect research, and assist with donor correspondence as requested
- Assist with administrative tasks associated with multiple committee meetings including assisting with scheduling, agendas, meeting minutes, etc.
- Support the organization to advance the mission and strategic plan of CRCL
Preferred qualifications
- An interest in, understanding of and commitment to the mission of CRCL
- Exceptional attention to detail, with strong written and oral communication skills
- Notable organizational skills with ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Discretion in handling of confidential information
- Highly proficient skills in Microsoft Office applications and overall aptitude for technology are required
- Experience with donor management database preferred
- Familiarity with basic accounting ideal, but not required
- Ability to work some weekends and evenings as required for special projects or events
- A bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent record of professional achievement
Salary:
- Starting from approximately $40,000 with potential for growth over time.
