An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Create’s Development team in the role of Development Assistant.
The Development Assistant (Grants) will provide administrative, bid-writing, research, reporting and stewardship support to the Trusts and Foundations (T/F) Development (fundraising) team. The candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills in a team that is responsible for securing 50% of the charity’s income, managing an extensive portfolio of current funders, approaching a well-researched pipeline of potential funders, and researching prospects.
The successful candidate will work across administrative tasks, research of prospects, pipeline management, assisting with the writing of funding bids, and reporting on previous grants. They will bring exceptional written and verbal communication, research, organisational and IT skills, and meticulous attention to detail to the role.
This is an exciting time to join Create as we enter our 20th anniversary year (07/07/23), continue to grow our work in the North West and aim to double our reach by our 25th birthday in 2028. Create was named Charity Times Charity of the Year in 2020, and collected the Digital Transformation of the Year award in 2021 following our response to the pandemic.
Salary: £22,000-£23,000 per annum depending on experience.
