Job Description
British Triathlon is the National Governing Body for Triathlon, Duathlon and Aquathlon in Great Britain, responsible for raising the profile and delivering medal-winning performances and helping everyone discover, enjoy and achieve in triathlon.
Triathlon England is one of the three Home Nations of British Triathlon, the other two being TriathlonScotland and Welsh Triathlon. The three Home Nation Associations are responsible for all aspects of triathlon in their respective countries, and contribute to the work of British Triathlon.
British Triathlon are looking to appoint a Delivery Team Administrator to provide administrative support to the Delivery Team, consisting of coaching, volunteering, open water swimming, GO TRI and general triathlon participation development in achieving the organisation’s strategic operational objectives. Reporting to the Head of Coaching & Volunteering, you will provide day to day administrative support to the department and associated programmes including day to day bookings for courses, meetings, travel and accommodation as well as providing support in the planning and management of the coach education & volunteering programmes, databases as well as handling and processing invoices, and staff expenses.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and positive individual, with a desire to achieve the highest possible standards for themselves, the organisation and for those involved in triathlon. You will also have the ability to prioritise your work load to adhere to strict deadlines and to work well under pressure. The successful candidate will work well as part of a team but also have the ability to work well unsupervised and on your own initiative.
The role will be based at the British Triathlon headquarters located at Loughborough University; however, the nature of the role may require evening and weekend working and occasional travel.
