Full-Time Defense Litigation Paralegal – Bedminster, NJ
Job Description
Weber Gallagher is a regional law firm, with more than 110 attorneys and 19 civil practice areas, in nine regional offices. We provide legal counseling and representation in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States to local, national and international businesses, financial institutions and insurance companies. We represent businesses, employers and individuals in multiple areas of law.
Weber Gallagher has an opening for an experienced NJ defense litigation paralegal for our Bedminster, NJ office. Qualified candidate must possess at least three to five years’ experience and must be familiar with daily time entry billing requirements, strong communication skills and ability to work independently. Must be familiar with all NJ courts and deadlines, obtaining medical records, preparing medical chronologies, preparing motions, expert witness hiring and preparing of expert packages, trial prep work. Qualified candidate must be familiar with medical terminology and NJ personal Injury/Slip & Fall, General Liability matters. Must have experience with New Jersey law. Willing to work on cases from start to finish and meet all court deadlines. Experience with trial preparation preferred. Ability to work with other attorneys, paralegals, clients and experts with a team approach. Ability to perform research through Lexis is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required. A Certificate in Paralegal Studies from an ABA approved organization or a bachelor’s degree is also required.
