Full-Time Default Associate I (Req#1916)
Job Description
Default Management utilizes omnichannel customer communications, utilizes effective risk management strategies, seeks to deliver superior customer experiences, and meets high regulatory compliance standards. Utilizes strong problem-solving skills and probing questions to understand a customer’s financial difficulty and propose effective strategies to address the delinquency. The incumbent will have strong consumer and business banking product knowledge and supporting regulatory compliance regulations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Execute inbound and outbound calling efforts for consumer lending, mortgage, overdraft, and Business Banking accounts
- General product, collections, and disclosure knowledge
- Generate customer correspondence (all available channels)
- Process customer payments
- Log customer complaints
- Process servicing requests (e.g. address changes)
- Handling/routing of customer mail
- Identify operational risk events
Education and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in a financial discipline is preferred or 2+ years of work experience at a financial services company in a customer facing role
Skill and Knowledge
- Proven customer service experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build alliances, influence business partners and generate winning solutions to business problems
- Ability to use Microsoft products such as Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with Bank tools such as FIS Insight, Sales Management, and nCino
