Contract length : 04 Months

Summary:

  • The Data Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the appointment renewal process and establishing and updating Group Agent of Record data within all appropriate channel partner systems in accordance with documented SOPs.

Essential functions:

  • Coordinate the update of Group Agent of Record (AOR) changes.
  • Identify and document of all entities impacted by channel partner terminations, agency tax ID updates, agent transfers, and Group AOR change requests.
  • Update FGMS with AOR changes (removal and reassignments) in coordination with Sales/Renewal Reps as needed.
  • Reassign Groups to the Direct Sales Center Agency in FGMS.
  • Create new Group Summary Sheets (GSS) in FGMS and submit to Underwriting for auditing.
  • Update commission percentages associated to Groups in FGMS.
  • Email GSSs to PRA for updates to MHS and RBMS.
  • Coordinate the channel partner appointment renewal process
  • Initiate channel partner renewal process in response to Department of Financial Services (Client) monthly notifications.
  • Determine appropriate processing requirements based on agent relationship (internal or external).
  • Research and verify performance of external channel partners to determine whether or not agencies will be billed for renewals.
  • Coordinate with Direct Sales to ensure internal agents are eligible for renewal.
  • Re-appoint agents by loading batch text files to Client website.
  • Update agreements in Siebel to reflect new effective dates.
  • Document channel partner information management activities using Siebel service requests.
  • Communicate and coordinate with users, business partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Keep stakeholders and business partners informed regarding channel partner status changes via phone, emails, and service request updates.
  • Notify Data Coordinator IIs regarding agents who will not be renewed.
  • Respond to inquiries about channel partner data.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve data-related issues pertinent to Group AOR changes and appointment renewals.
  • Communicate and coordinate with BCBSF Sales Leadership Team to determine whether or not terminating agencies can retain Groups.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of channel partner data, related processes and tools.
  • Track stakeholder issues and concerns to identify and report improvement opportunities.
  • Proactively identify and communicate continuous improvement opportunities within the scope of the job including but not limited to the improvement of/updates to SOPs, processes and forms as required by the changing business environment.
  • Share knowledge with other team members to foster on-going learning and team development.
  • Participate in projects that support business unit and corporate goals.
  • Incorporate learning into process improvements.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure all process steps have been completed accurately and in accordance with business process flows, policies, and SOPs.
  • Troubleshoot channel partner data-related problems as needed including research and resolution of file discrepancies from one system to another and merging or eliminating duplicate data.

Experience:

  • 0-2 Years Including at least 1 year working in insurance sales support (e.g., with internal sales reps or external agents, brokers or consultants, insurance sales commissions contracts and/or appointments) and 1 year of data management experience

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED
