Full-Time Customer Support Agent
Job Description
Founded in 2013 and based in Lafayette, Louisiana, Waitr is a leader in on-demand food ordering and delivery. Waitr, along with Bite Squad and Delivery Dudes, connect local restaurants to hungry diners in underserved U.S. markets across three “local’s favorite” brands. Together they are a convenient way to discover, order and receive great food from local restaurants, national chains and grocery stores. As of June 30, 2020, Waitr and Bite Squad operated in small and medium sized markets in the United States in over 725 cities.
- Essential Functions:
- Communicating with restaurants, drivers, and customers
- Customer service via telephone and chat support
- Internal account management and technical support
- Provide support for diners, restaurants, and drivers via chat support or telephone
- Convert customers into Waitr advocates
- Preferred Education and Experience:
- Detail oriented, customer focused multi-tasker
- Able to communicate clearly and concisely over the phone and through live chat
- Good working knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation

- Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
- This can be a full time or a part time position. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
