Full-Time Customer Service Representative
Job Description
As a Barclays Customer Services Representative within collections you will be the company’s primary interface with existing and potential customers. As a representative in this area, your duties will include receiving inbound and outbound calls and solving /educating customers on specific account information, concerns and inquiries to make it as easy and as possible to do business with and resolve their delinquency.
As a Customer Services Representative you will be supporting Barclays customers across the US and non-traditional shifts may be anticipated (i.e. non-standard business hours or weekends).

What will you be doing?
- You will receive inbound and make outbound phone calls from customers, servicing their needs effectively and efficiently
- You will work with customers to offer payment programs and solve account problems
- Understanding and analyzing customer needs by actively listening and establishing rapport
- Using computer software application to properly service customers’ accounts
- You will take ownership of any follow-up work necessary to service customer and ensure that nothing slips through the cracks
- You will adhere to all compliance regulations and security policies
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 years’ experience in collections or customer service
Skills that will help you in the role:
- 1+ years of Banking or credit card experience
- Advanced degree (preferred – not required)
- Strong PC skills and internet skills
