Primary Purpose:
Responsible for the administration, promotion and coordination of customer programs focused on resiliency, sustainability, and equity, targeting residential or commercial/industrial customers in the Sempra utilities service area as it relates to overall program success. This position will be supporting wildfire mitigation efforts as well as other programs focused on strengthening customer resiliency, enhancing clean energy sustainability, and achieving more equitable energy program participation across the region. Customer Programs may be administered directly by Sempra utilities or through a contractor. May assist in budget development and is responsible for reporting and monitoring program performance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for reporting, analysis, and program documentation for the various customer programs to enhance resiliency, sustainability, and equity for residential or commercial/industrial customers. May assist in budget development and is responsible for reporting and monitoring program budgets.
- Under supervision, responsible for the administration, promotion, and coordination of program components of smaller programs. Assists in reviews and monitors contract performance and management, adherence to regulatory program rules and business controls.
- Regularly collaborates and coordinates with energy efficiency contractors, key stakeholders, and other utility counterparts.
- Monitors aspects of customer communications, marketing and outreach activities associated with program promotion and customer participation.
- Performs other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties).
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree Business, architecture, marketing, engineering or other related field or equivalent experience.
- 2-3 years Relevant experience
- Project management skills; interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of energy efficiency and demand response programs.
- Ability to work in a variety of situations and with a variety of customers and internal.
- Must reside in Southern California or be willing to relocate upon hire.
- We offer a hybrid work environment. Although the schedule may vary, typically this will allow you to work from the office two to three days per week and work remotely on the remaining workdays.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Recent competitive sales/marketing experience.
