Job Description
**While the full salary range for the Court Services / Fugitive Clerk position is $22.50 – $33.76 hourly / $46,800.00 – $70,220.80 annually, the anticipated hiring range is $24.08 – $28.13 hourly / $50,086.40 – $58,510.40 annually. Final salary is DOQ.**
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
Under the supervision of a Court Services Sergeant, this position performs a wide variety of standardized duties associated with records management, court schedules, in-custody inmate court appearances, coordinating inmate transports within the state, as well as out-of-state extraditions. This position maintains specialized clerical records and duties requiring advanced knowledge of the department and operations of the section or unit to which assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: High School graduate or GED equivalent.
EXPERIENCE: One (1) year of clerical/administrative experience.
OR
Any equivalent education and experience that satisfies the requirements of the job as approved by the Sheriff.

NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to type 35 WPM corrected.
- CCIC/NCIC system access and operation certification.
- Must be able to be certified and/or bonded (i.e., Notary Public).
- Must possess CPR and First Aid certification within the initial status period.
