SALARY: $31,290-$45,371
LOCATION: Niceville, Mattie Kelly Arts Center
FLSA STATUS: Exempt
Duties and Responsibilities
The Costume Shop Supervisor/Adjunct Professor is directly accountable to the Director, Mattie Kelly Arts Center for the below listed duties and responsibilities.
- Teach up to three courses as needed by the College.
- Maintains the Costume Shop to be a usable space for education and productions.
- Purchasing shop supplies, production and course materials and maintaining a budget
- Responsible for the selection and/or building of costumes for all Fine Arts Division performance ensembles and theatrical productions.
- Responsible for the Fine Arts Division production runs
- Supervise part time employees and student workers.
- Facilitate the required laundry and repair services for costumes.
- Responsible for ensuring all costume personnel rider requirements for Broadway and Artist Series are met.
- Supports Mattie Kelly Arts Center Broadway and Artist Series as needed for production load-ins, performance runs, and load outs.
- Complete annual mandatory training to maintain college Title IX compliance.

Qualifications
- MFA in Costume Technology, or MFA in related concentration area with 18 graduate hours in theatre or closely related fields
- Ability to maintain Bernina sewing machines
- Excellent sewing skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft 360 and Windows 10
- Budget Experience
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Wig and makeup skills preferred
