For over 2 decades, our company has produced a national tour of boutique-style LGBTQ+ wedding expos, bridging couples with vendors who support a policy of non-discrimination. Our mission is to support and uplift the LGBTQ+ community and its allies by creating safe, inclusive and vibrant events throughout the United States.
Rainbow Wedding Network’s (RWN) wedding expos are one-day events that feature 28-35 onsite exhibitors along with multiple corporate sponsors. Sponsors have the opportunity to access thousands of qualified LGBTQ+ couples and participating wedding professionals through day-of promo opportunities at interactive stations, signage, on fabric totes and emcee announcements, along with extended exposure through premier online placement, social media and e-newsletter inclusions & more.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Corporate Sponsorship Salesperson to join our team. This is a remote, commission-only position, perfect for a self-starter who thrives in a flexible work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate sponsorship sales, with a passion for building partnerships that align with our mission of promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and target potential corporate sponsors for Rainbow Wedding Network’s LGBTQ+ wedding expos.
Develop and maintain relationships with corporate partners to secure sponsorships.
Create customized sponsorship packages within the scope of RWN’s services that align with and excite corporate partner prospects.
Negotiate and finalize sponsorship agreements and manage the end-to-end sales process.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of sponsorship benefits.
Track and report on sales performance, including leads, prospects, and closed deals.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in corporate sponsorship sales, preferably within the events or nonprofit sectors.
Strong understanding of the LGBTQ+ community and commitment to promoting equality and inclusion.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
