YMCA DownsLink Group are looking for a dynamic, creative and tenacious relationship builder to join our successful Fundraising and Communications team as Corporate and Community Partnerships Officer. A key focus of this role is to manage an active portfolio of partners and donors to increase income potential. You will play a pivotal role in increasing and diversifying income, so we can sustain priority projects that provide a lifeline to young people in crisis.
In this role, you will be responsible for forging meaningful connections with a range of local organisations and maintaining first class stewardship of partners to maximise support. You will proactively engage with local companies, community organisations, churches and faith groups as well as potential donors in and around the areas we work. You will build on the success of existing relationships and will be responsible for securing new partnerships and income. In addition, you will collaborate with colleagues to deliver an outstanding supporter experience, including direct and digital communication as well as participation in challenges and special events. You will also contribute to the development and delivery of fundraising events, to grow partner engagement and income.
This is a hybrid role, working onsite and from home.

A successful applicant will have proven experience of exceeding targets within the charity or commercial sectors and experience of community fundraising and/or event management. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and will be skilled at turning initial engagement into participation and income and one-off support to long-term partnerships with real purpose. You will also have the ability to manage multiple activities concurrently and deliver successfully to deadlines
