Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Ensure engaging, clear and timely communication using the appropriate tool for the audience. Plan and execute CEO-hosted company meetings and support team to implement messages that reflect our commitment to Our People and exceeding our business objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Plan and Execute Communications Tools & Supporting Projects (30%)
- BBI Intranet – create, manage, keep fresh with – material, video, etc.
- com – refresh and maintenance
- Internal monitor images and messaging
- Company Calendar
- Photo Shoots
- Special projects as needed
Plan and Execute Meeting Logistics (30%)
- Quarterlies
- ELT Stand-ups
- Officers
- Investors
Misc Department Support (30%)
- PAC research and plan execution
- Budget reporting
- Writing & Media Relations support as needed
Digital Media (10%)
- Social media research to support crisis management implementation
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Communications, Journalism, or Public Relations
- Availabilty for off hours/weekend support as needed for rapid response events
- Some overnight travel
- Restaurant-first mindset
- Perform with integrity, accountability and respect
Experience/Skills:
- One to three years’ of corporate communication or agency experience strongly preferred
- Strong research skills on current and emerging trends
- Ability to learn new communications and media platforms
- Prior onsite and offsite Event /Meeting planning and vendor negotiation experience for 100 or more attendees
- Effective navigation of cross-functional relationships with executive, staff and cross-functional teams
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Cool under pressure, especially on short deadlines
- Strong proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
- Experience with creating and editing short-form video content for Intranet or Corporate sites
