Job Description:
The individual filling this position is expected to play a positive role in helping Northwest Florida State College (NWFSC) change as necessary to effectively carry out its mission.
- Works closely with the Associate Director in coordinating the current daily operations of testing and accommodations at all NWFSC campus locations.
- Maintains current knowledge of tests administered at all centers, such as PERT, HESI, TABE, DSST, CLEP, Pearson VUE, and FAA testing, as well as any other testing programs that the College participates in
- Administers, proctors, scores, and transmits results of all tests administered by the Testing Center.
- Regularly travels to other sites to proctor, train, and oversee testing operations
- Completes testing reports, timesheets, and other specialist projects or duties as assigned.
- Provides instructional guidance with test parameters and certification processes
- Aids candidates in locating test preparation materials and resources
- Ensures student with accommodations have fair access to testing via accommodation technologies
- Perform intake assessments of students with disabilities including collecting and reviewing disability documents. Analyze all disability documentation and recommend what accommodations and services may be provided to students.
- Provide support to students in resolving disability-related issue that may be barriers to academic success
- Keep up-to-date records on all students requesting accommodations and maintain case files and confidential student records in accordance with Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
- Collect data to measure the success and alignment of disability programs with departmental and institutional strategic plan and goals.
- Participate in outreach opportunities on campus.
- As a part of the college’s risk management tool annual mandatory compliance training is required.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- Associates degree, with two-four years relevant work experience.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in compliance with FERPA, HIPPA, and any other appropriate laws.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) required.
- Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree with one to three years relevant work experience.
- Experience with Banner System.
- Experience with postsecondary education student needs and experiences.
- Previous work experience in college-level student services.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities.
