Full-Time Coordinator of E-Sports
Job Description
The Division of Student Life invites applications for the Coordinator of Esports position. In this role, you will report to the Director of Student Engagement and establish and support high-quality Esports-related experiences for all students on campus.
Your duties will include:
- Coordinate student use of Esports competition, practice, and open gameplay spaces by collaborating with campus partners, Esports Collegiate Conference varsity teams, recreational and club-based activities and player recruitment.
- Support the Esports office in the design and implementation of a curricular approach to Esports educational initiatives focused on learning experiences related to equity diversity and inclusion, health and wellness, community development, career exploration, and academic success.
- Assist with the assessment and evaluation efforts for the competitive gaming community.
- Work collaboratively with the academic resources available on campus to monitor student academic progress to ensure academic success, eligibility, retention, and graduation.
- Coordinate student recruitment, engagement, and retention activities on campus.
- Collaborate with university stakeholders regarding sponsorship and program funding
The successful incumbent will have outstanding listening, oral, and written communication skills and work independently to successfully assess inquiries, prioritize workload and formulate timely responses to constituents.
