We are currently hiring for the position of:
COORDINATOR, FINANCE, A/R
The Coordinator, Finance A/R is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of TIFF’s Accounts Receivable records, including invoices, payments, cash sales and credit memos as well as monitoring and acting on aged receivables and reconciliation of select control accounts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Shall include but not be limited to:
- Ensuring invoice requests are accurately prepared and updated into the general ledger on a timely basis
- Follow up of all A/R balances on a weekly basis to decrease aging on accounts.
- Processing and recording payments (cheques, cash, wire, and credit card)
- Preparing daily bank deposits (AR payments, Concessions and Retail, misc.)
- Reconciling various assigned accounts monthly and at year end (e.g. Deposits, etc.)
- Preparation of certain Cash Sales as required for review by Controller
- Ensuring hard and soft copy documents are filed in accordance with Finance requirements and ensure integrity of annual archiving
- Provide/Supervise the training for Finance interns on a seasonal basis
- Training new staff on the Net suite invoice request process.
- Other duties as assigned
JOB GRADE & RATE OF PAY:
- Job Grade 2
- Minimum $50,000 /Annually

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma in Business Administration from a recognizable college/university
- One year experience in Accounts Receivables in a similar organization

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Google Suite.
- Experience with Netsuite (Financial System) an asset.

- Avoid distractions when entering data.
- Concentrating for prolonged periods at computer
- Physical effort: Daily walk to bank branch
- Hours and setting: 9am-5pm, Monday thru Friday, with flexibility during Festival.
- Travel: Daily walk to bank branch
- Time pressure: Daily invoice creation/ payments. Daily counting of Concessions/Retail cash. Weekly reporting of AR/ Open invoices sent to departments. Monthly accounts reconciliations.
- Monotony: repetitive tasks comprise around 20% of work
