The Contracts & Legal Operations Officer will take the principal role in the preparation, administration, drafting and negotiation of Client/Supplier facing Contracts (Framework Services Contracts, Amendments, Termination Letters, Notifications etc.), in addition to process creation, implementation, maintenance, and improvement.

This role is ideal for a professional that has commercial/legal experience or seeking such experience within the scope of healthcare, workforce management, procurement and supply chain management.

The division has made considerable investment in a Contract Lifecycle Management System to assist the Contract Review and Management Process, it would be expected that the ideal candidate is comfortable with engaging and utilising technology to improve processes.

Every day you will……

  • Manage agreement templates on Acacium’s Contract Lifecycle Management Systems.
  • Respond to requests to prepare, draft, administrate and execute a broad range of legal documents.
  • Review non standard agreements and contract received from third party organisations such as clients and suppliers.
  • Represent Acacium’s group of companies during the contract review and negotiation process .
  • Follow up with colleagues and third parties to ensure timely execution of contracts.
  • Ensure contract summaries are completed and shared appropriately.
  • Manage Live Data Reporting in line with Acacium’s software systems and processes
  • Apply knowledge to further develop contract template library and operating processes.
  • Undertake ongoing contract/end date management, template and agreement management.
  • Review and enhance contract management processes on an ongoing basis.
  • Collaboratively work with all departments of Acacium such as Finance, Legal, Sales.
  • Attend ongoing training, learning and development activities.
  • Undertake legal research.
  • Assist with Process Review / Process Documentation / Process Improvement / Process Enforcement / Training.

To thrive in this role, you must ideally have…

  • A legal degree / legal qualification
  • Contracts experience in Healthcare / Staffing & Recruitment / Services Procurement & Supply Chain Management
  • Experience with managing a sizeable workload in a fast-paced environment.
