Job Description
Starting salary – £32,023 rising to £33,708 after 12 months plus attractive benefits package

This role will be office based (Haywards Heath) with the flexibility to regularly work from home; due to current Covid-19 situation all our employees are working from home.
Job Summary
Are you an experienced Content Officer looking for a new challenge? If you would like an opportunity to work with the NAHT and help influence the future of our education system, this vacancy may be of interest to you.
This role is responsible for supporting the development and delivery of the Association’s content strategy, drafting and preparing content for digital and print channels ensuring copy is fit for purpose, demonstrates our brand values and drives engagement.
You will support the broader communications service including planning and coordinating editorial content and publications/advice documents for NAHT and NAHT Edge, writing and subbing, as well as some relationship management with suppliers and delivery partners.
Person Specification
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is a skilled copywriter with experience of product, service and content marketing as well as print and online media. You should have knowledge of using insight and analytics to inform content development with audience needs and experience always in mind.
Experience of writing for multiple channels with a clear understanding of the different techniques necessary to reach multiple audiences via multiple channels as well as experience of writing to support search engine optimisation using keywords will be essential for this role.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to establish credibility with key stakeholders, as well as attention to detail and a methodical and planned approach to tasks are key attributes for the role.
