Could you support our Construction staff team to create an exciting training environment for our students?
If so, you could be the very person we are looking for! Abingdon & Witney college seeks a motivated individual to join our highly successful Construction Team based at Witney campus as an Instructor Technician.
The role involves working with the Carpentry and Joinery trades for both Site Carpentry and Bench Fitting and includes a variety of duties including preparing workshops and materials, monitoring and ordering tools and equipment, ensuring high standards of health and safety and supporting the vocational training and assessment of our students.
Suitable candidates will need to have a sound knowledge, experience and understanding of the Construction Industry and ideally hold a recognised level 2 or 3 qualification in a Carpentry and Joinery specialism.
Ideally you will hold your Award in Education and Training (AET), however Abingdon & Witney College can help support you in gaining this qualification through the excellent training within the College, if you do not currently have this.
