Reporting to the IT Delivery Manager, Data Information Management/PMO, this position is responsible for the following:
- Designs dashboards, forms and reports including ad hoc and cube reports using programming tools such as Excel, .Net, Power Apps, Microsoft SSRS and PowerBI for departmental and management staff
- Creates scripts, tables, views, and procedures to help enhance the NLC’s data warehouses and related applications
- Provides technical support on existing software products with a focus on the Microsoft BI Stack (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS), SQL, .Net
- Performs system evaluation, regression testing, pre/post change comparison analysis when making updates, bug fixes, and enhancements
- Participates in small teams to do system / application upgrades and rollout to end users
- Performs ongoing testing of system functionality as systems continue to evolve
- Verifies data integrity, modifies user noted documentation errors to make client information as accurate as possible to user specifications
- Provide rotational On-Call support on the data warehouse and its integrations/reporting processes
- Creates training material and provides training to end users of the custom software utilized
- Gathers information to aid in project completion undertaken within the department
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Three (3) year specialized post-secondary Diploma in Computer Studies
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience with programming and systems design. Experience with data warehousing, reporting, integrations, .Net, SQL server, and/or PowerBI will be considered an asset
- Knowledge of programming principles, on premise and cloud based design, and hardware systems
- Ability to write code used in the ETL of data using software such as the Microsoft BI Stack and Excel
- Presentation/training skills
- Strong analytical and communication skills

Salary: CG 29 – $46,428.20 – $51,560.6 annually
