GoPro is seeking a Compensation Manager to support the development and administration of innovative compensation programs and consult with internal business partners to find solutions to their compensation related challenges.
What You Will Do
- Responsible for program management and delivery of annual compensation review process (calendar, drafting communications, support tools, data, collection of recommendations, ensuring approvals and execution)
- Consult with cross-functional partners and leaders on day to day compensation challenges, discuss recommendations and implement solutions
- Manage survey strategy and participation in third party compensation surveys
- Conduct market analysis and research to support compensation decisions and program recommendations to ensure alignment with GoPro culture, philosophy and market
- Stay abreast of changes in market best practices providing guidance to HR leadership on interpretation and application
- Evaluate and adapt current compensation programs, policies and processes for GoPro’s global workforce
- Manage administration of incentive plans
- Serve as resource for a variety of compensation and cross-functional HR projects including: employee recognition program, incentive design, acquisitions, etc.
Skills We’re Stoked About
- BA/BS in related field with 7+ years of experience in management of compensation programs and related systems
- Highly analytical mindset with strong ability to interpret data and apply to find creative solutions to unique situations
- Strong ability to organize, keep track of details and produce results in an environment of rapid change and competing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as ability to present analysis/recommendations in a clear and compelling manner to various audiences (HR partners, cross-functional partners, managers, business leaders, employees)
- Track record of building collaborative partnerships with human resources, staffing, finance, stock administration and legal partners
- Demonstrated compensation experience in the following areas: broad based compensation, job architecture, global compensation practices, data analysis, research and cost modeling
- Experience with the following a plus: experience at public companies in technology sector, global compensation practices, Workday and bonus/sales plan design
