Job Scope: Administers all compensation related total rewards programs under the direction of HR management.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

 

  • Designs, develops, manages, and communicates compensation programs including base salary, incentive compensation, commissions, equity, and executive compensation.  Provides thought leadership on all compensation related activities.  Participates in various strategic initiatives that involve compensation/benefits alignment, planning and strategy.
  • Assists with the design and administration of salary planning, stock award grant process, and employee stock purchase programs.
  • Analyzes organizational individual pay practices and internal equity and makes recommendations for salary changes to ensure pay equity.
  • Participates in and analyzes data from salary surveys, interprets results, and performs analysis to ensure jobs are competitively positioned in the marketplace.
  • Operates as an expert advisor for compensation and benefits best practices and market competitiveness.  Performs benchmarking and internal compensation analyses to determine appropriate salary level according to compensation guidelines and policy.
  • Performs job audits to evaluate competitiveness of pay externally, internal equity, and legal compliance of the organization’s pay practices.
  • Performs annual salary reviews and conducts assessment of market compensation to include the collection and review of compensation market data and development of market reference ranges, including report development, analysis of market data, movement recommendation and costing.
  • Assists with benefits strategic plan design to evaluate benefit plans and ensure benefits are competitive and aligned with the company’s strategic benefits philosophy.  Evaluates current and developing legislation and regulations affecting global benefit plans to assess their potential business impact.
  • Partners with stakeholders and HR Business Partners to ensure coordination and proactive consideration on issues related to overall compensation and benefits programs and structures.
  • Tracks, audits, and administers short- and long-term incentive plan performance and results to Sr Management (Corporate, Sales Plans, short-and long-term bonus plans).
  • Collaborates with HR Business Partners to ensure accurate job descriptions for positions in organization.  Coordinates with various departments to ensure timely and accurate payouts, accruals, and tax compliance.
  • Participates in domestic or regional compensation or compliance audits to ensure data quality and accuracy throughout each incentive plan period.
  • Collaborates with HR Team to evaluate business drivers and understand impact of compensation programs on revenue and cost.
  • Leads outside vendor management of outsourced compensation providers.
  • Follows prescribed legal guidelines and requirements.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 

Required Skills and Experience:

 

Five years of experience with corporate Compensation and Benefits plan development and administration to include analysis, plan design and/or administration of compensation and benefit programs is required.  Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and with Workday or similar HRIS systems.  Must have proven ability to collaborate with others to understand and complete project goals.  Must have excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communications skills and dependability and confidentiality, especially when dealing with confidential or sensitive employee and company information.  Must have excellent time management and decision-making skills and be able to prioritize and organize tasks and projects.  Must have the ability to multi-task, work independently, meet deadlines, and be proactive.  Must be able to pay attention to detail and work effectively and collaboratively across various departments to meet goals and deadlines.  Must have highly developed and creative problem-solving and project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Experience with compensation data management systems such as MarketPay or Payfactors is preferred.
  • Certification through World At Work (CCP or CBP) or SHRM is preferred.

 

Education/ Licensing/Certification:

 

Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Economics, or a related field or any combination of education and/or experience based on the table above is required.

 

Base Pay Range

$105,000 – 120,000

Physical Requirements:

This position requires you to sit, stand and perform general office functions. You may also be required to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Bending, stooping and reaching are also frequently required.
