An exciting opportunity has come up for a maternity cover contract role in the Community Fundraising team at Cystic Fibrosis Trust. You will be joining a dynamic team at an exciting period of growth in our fundraising programme.  You will be creative, organised and a great relationship builder with excellent communications skills which you will use to engage, inspire, and help to deliver the best fundraising support.

You will be joining a passionate, welcoming team who all work from home and keep in touch with weekly online team meetings, as well as individual catchups and in person meetings throughout the year.  This role would suit someone who likes to use their insight, creativity, and innovation to help develop and deliver successful and sustainable fundraising and create an inclusive, accessible and diverse community fundraising program.

You will manage and develop digital and social Community Fundraising, and line manage a team of two to support fundraiser led community fundraising events and national fundraising campaigns throughout the UK. You will have the opportunity to work closely with both internal and external stakeholders across brand, marketing agencies, content, social, fundraising and more to develop digital community fundraising activity, improving supporter experience and engagement with community fundraising.

Our current fundraising activities include a wide range of supporter led DIY activity, ranging from football tournaments, bake sales, silent discos to corporate community partnerships and balls. As well as our Community campaigns which include Festive FundraisingWear Yellow DayFeBrewary, and Game4CysticFibrosis.

Typical responsibilities in the role are:

  • Campaign development
  • Platform integration and management
  • Supporter journeys planning
  • Fundraising resources development

This is a home-based role with some travel throughout the UK. You will be able to take Time Off In Lieu (TOIL) for this and claim travel and subsistence allowances.

We will provide you with a home allowance to support costs of working from home, a laptop, mobile phone and any other essential equipment needed for your role.
