Communications Coordinator (Full-Time position)
Rx Partnership is an innovative and statewide nonprofit dedicated to increasing medication access for underserved populations throughout the Commonwealth by making essential medications available at no cost to patients. Since 2004 Rx Partnership has helped more 76,000 patients receive over 893,000 prescriptions valued at more than $245 million by developing new and impactful programs to address the changing needs of the underserved patients in Virginia.
We are seeking a Communications Coordinator to join our dedicated team in building awareness of Rx Partnership’s mission and activities. This is a hybrid position that requires 2-3 days of in-office at our Richmond, VA location.
As the Communications Coordinator you’ll be:
- Responsible for community engagement by leading public relations activities
- Creating news releases, social media content, e-newsletters, and drafting articles for state and local publications
- Responsible for internal and external communications and materials such as developing the annual impact report, mailing campaigns, managing clinic surveys and creating press release templates for our clinic partners
- Managing the logistics and coordination for events, board and committee meetings
Your qualifications should include:
- A least 2+ years of experience in a marketing or communications related position
- Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience
- Strong written communication
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite products and multimedia design software

Starting salary range $48,000 – $55,000 for full-time employment. Candidates interested in part-time employment will be considered for commensurate salary and limited benefits.
