Salary Range: $60,000 – $70,000/year depending on experience.
Wayside Youth and Family Support Network is looking for a talented Communications and Marketing Manager with the ability to articulate Wayside’s mission and increase Wayside’s visibility to elevate Wayside as a thought leader that inspires others to act in service to the organization and the community.
What You Will Do:
- Responsible for day-to-day communications efforts;
- Maintain, update, and expand Wayside website, social networking efforts, and e-communications, including copywriting, proofreading, design and production of collateral materials, press releases, and other related community outreach.
- Develop storytelling content for newsletter, video, social media, in collaboration with other Wayside team members.
- Assists with the production and promotion of Wayside events.
- Collaborates with Director to develop and implement social media strategies to help promote Wayside programs, Wayside Training Institute, and other initiatives like the 5K4Kids fundraising event.

- Ability to collaborate with outside vendors (designer, printers, photographers).
- Needs to be comfortable working and engaging with diverse stakeholders.

- Ability to think long-term, tying together the current operations with a more long-term focus to achieve planned outcomes.
- Excellent written and verbal communications; strong organizational skills; ability to meet demanding deadlines; ability to work within budgets; ability to handle multiple projects with ease;
- Highly organized, strong attention to detail, results oriented, self-starter;
- Ability to resourcefully collect information and compile findings.
- Highly proficient using Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and design tools such as InDesign, Adobe Photo Shop, Social Media tools like Canva and Hootsuite.
Minimum Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum two years’ experience in marketing, communications, or related field.
- Experience with AP Style writing and editing, graphic design, photography, computer proficiency, website management, and social media experience preferred.
- Cross-cultural sensitivity and experience working with diverse population.
