Part-Time CNC Router/Machine Field Repair Technician
Job Description
This position requires a large amount of travel and overnight trips (an average of 1-2 weeks per month). Travel is primarily domestic, though we do service several international customers.
Work hours will vary greatly as they are based on the number of service calls scheduled and the scope of work required. Individual shifts can be up to 10 hours.
Paid training will be up to one year, including using Fagor, Fanuc and Allen Bradley controls, and during this time the candidate will utilize the skills needed and learn to apply them to CNC router mechanics. Skills perfected will be soldering, electronic connections, wire preparation, laser calibration, G-Code and PLC programming, and mechanical assembly,
Concepts used will be AC & DC electronic circuits, including relays and AC/DC/mechanical power transformation.
Job Type: Part-time employee, full-time (on W2) with health insurance benefits or Contract worker on 1099, with no health insurance benefits
Pay is based on knowledge and experience.
