Cloud Engineer – Salary up to £38,000 with potential £4000 Bonus – (2 Days a Month on site)

Yolk Recruitment is working in partnership with Natural Resources Wales to find them high calibre technical talent from across Wales. We are currently working with them to recruit a Cloud Engineer.
This opportunity is open to both seasoned Cloud Engineers as well as those who are newer to the area. We welcome applications from those who are beginning their Azure journey and have deployed a few projects into Azure, however they will likely be awarded the bottom point of the payscale depending on experience.
The Role
You will be responsible for deploying mission critical applications like the Flood Warning System, into Azure architecture. This role will be a mix of DevOps/Deployment work and high level cloud support.
- Supporting the deployment of Inhouse applications to an Azure infrastructure
- Leveraging Infrastructure as code to enhance application deployment
- Ensure the continuous health of applications and their sustained availability
- Ensure updates to live services are completed effectively and in accordance with IT governance
Requirements
You will have experience deploying applications into Azure and an understanding of devops tools and practices.
- Good knowledge and understanding of deployment into Azure
- Ability to effectively deploy Infrastructure as Code
- Understanding and fixing high level support requests
