Position Overview
The Division of Mental Health is seeking to hire a Clinical Psychologist at the MH & Justice Services located in Chicago, Illinois. The incumbent serves as a clinical psychologist for the Metro Forensic Area. For inpatient evaluation, designs a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation packet for each forensic patient detailed in jail. Conducts outpatient forensic evaluations with both patients and families, interviews patient and family members. Creates a computer database to gather and track statistical data on population served. Within 48 hours of referral, conducts Behavior Risk Management evaluations as requested by a local community hospital or community provider. Provides forensic outpatient fitness restorations services including fitness education and preparation of fitness evaluations and progress report for the referring courts.

Job Responsibilities
1. Serves as a clinical psychologist for the Metro Forensic Area.

7. Performs other duties as assigned or required that are reasonably within the scope of duties enumerated above.

Minimum Qualifications
1. Requires current license as a Clinical Psychologist by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.

Conditions of Employment
1. Requires ability to travel.
2. Requires ability to pass the IDHS background check.
3. Requires ability to pass a drug screen for drugs prohibited from recreational use under Illinois Law.
