Clinical Nurse Trainer

Thornbury Community Services (part of Acacium Group)

Field-based with frequent travel across the UK

Full Time, Permanent
Monday – Friday 37.5 hours (Option of a 9-day working fortnight)

£38,000-£40,000 DOE + car allowance +  annual bonus

Due to business growth, we are expanding our team and have an exciting job opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Trainer to join our amazing team. You will work closely with our Clinical Educator to deliver high-quality training to ensure that skilled and competent employees are working within our complex care packages. This is an incredibly rewarding opportunity as you will be working collaboratively with the clinical team to drive excellence and promote the Acacium Group standards of service.

Every day you will…

  • Design, develop and deliver high-quality training sessions using classroom, remote technologies and blended learning
  • You will be responsible for delivering training of the highest quality, ensuring that skilled and competent staff are working within our complex packages
  • Continually expand the training portfolio to ensure that training meets the growing and changing needs of the business
  • Assess the success of development plans and assist all health care staff to make the most of learning and development opportunities
  • Keep up-to-date with current research, policies and evidence-based practice related to meeting the clinical and nursing needs of our client base

To thrive in this role, you must ideally have…

    • Have a current NMC Nurse Registration and Nursing degree
    • Have previous experience of working with clients with complex care needs
    • Have strong IT skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams
    • Ideally have a training/education qualification e.g. Education and Training (6502) previously known as; PTLLS, CTLLS etc. but this is not essential to apply
