We’re looking for a full-time Client Strategist who’s excited to take the next step with us in our vision of becoming the most sought-after resource for small businesses, who contribute to the economy with intention. We choose colleagues who have a technical strategy superpower and deep emotional intelligence. For this position, we’re looking for someone who’s superpower is people: specifically training and motivating. Perhaps you’re a recovering consultant, or a trainer within a business, and you have the ability to empathize and really understand the highs, lows, and ha’s of being a small business.

What do our Client Strategists do? 

Our full time Strategists act as outsourced chief strategy officers across a portfolio of 10-15 clients, who are small businesses. The Strategist’s goal is to take their clients’ businesses to the next level. Over the course of a personalized, year-long engagement, this looks like: 

• Helping a client articulate their business’s optimal growth point; 
• Devising a strategy that will get them to achieve that growth, following our framework; 
• Executing the strategy with the business, side-by-side, over the year. 

We attract clients who are intuition-based and human first in the way they view their business, the world, and making change. Therefore, the Ellevated Outcomes approach of blending business (numbers, analysis, facts) with personal (what do you want for your life) sets us apart and allows us to renew clients into our evergreen Strategy Manager portfolio. This role is also responsible for attracting new clients and delighting current clients so much that they can’t help but tell others about us.

You are: 

• Strategic and analytical (can think big picture and roll up your sleeves to help execute) 
• Empathetic with high emotional intelligence

• Skilled at facilitating personal, yet productive meetings 
• Able to clearly present information in plain words, pictures, and narratives 
• Someone who can reverse-engineer ideas into bite-sized process steps

• A learner, who can learn new things and unlearn + relearn 
• Living a dynamic, interesting life, and are involved in the community / a connection-maker 

You have: 

• 10 years working experience in multiple business functions, including motivating and training people 
• Worked in coaching, consulting, training, and/or a small business 
• An aptitude for numbers
