Full-Time Client Manager RXR Sports
Job Description
We are a management and talent acquisition firm working for RXR Sports (www.rxrsports.com), a full-service, specialized management firm representing premier adventure and endurance sports talent. They are currently seeking a New York based Client Manager to join their team.
This role entails working directly with talent, brands and provides a chance to gain experience alongside senior partners at the heart of a dynamic business with world-class talent.
A DAY IN THE LIFE:
• Work with talent and brands to manage partnerships
• Arrange, negotiate and facilitate talent’s speaking engagements
• Work alongside talent on original content projects (documentaries, TV series, podcasts, etc.)
• Coordinate public relations opportunities
• Work with senior partners on creating and negotiating business development opportunities for talent
• Organize talent’s schedules
• Provide strategic and consultative advice on all aspects of projects to ensure that clients’ vision can be brought to life
• Mentor and develop talent’s careers and long term goals
• Strategize and assist in the execution of talent’s social media and brand partnership deliverables
• Maintain a concierge approach to managing all projects associated with clients
• Develop in-depth industry knowledge
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR THIS ROLE POSSESSES:
• 2 – 5 years of experience in related fields such as advertising, production, talent representation, brand marketing and public relations.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage client relationships
• Presentation and sales material development skills
• Experience with film and photography productions as well as brand partnership and sponsorships
• The ability to manage several projects and pivot seamlessly between tasks and teams in a fast- paced, goal-oriented environment
• A track record of flawless project management and client service
• Knowledge and passion of the outdoor, adventure and endurance sports world • A strong work ethic and eagerness to learn the business
• A history of proactively setting and achieving goals
• A genuinely positive attitude and know how to motivate a team with kindness
• An entrepreneurial spirit, you always see the glass as half full.
COMPENSATION PACKAGE
Commensurate with experience
This is a full time NYC based in office position.
