Primary Purpose:

Manage and coordinate activities leading to the successful completion of electric vehicle charger projects within the department. Provide technical assistance for contracts.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates activities leading to the successful completion of electric vehicle charger projects including providing technical guidance and coordinating site designs, and procuring infrastructure. Provides review for contractors and consultants.
  • Reviews project layout plans for site host space and customer charging needs and provides assistance for project implementation. Reviews Electric Vehicle Service Provide (EVSP) contracting and services. Works with Supply Management to provide contract requirements.
  • Manages construction contractor project bidding execution and construction change orders. Assembles project documentation for contractor bidding and creates request for bidding letters. Reviews change orders for compliance with contract terms.
  • Ensures that interested parties understand the risks involved with various initiatives, formulates alternatives, and makes recommendations. Facilitates communication between customers, vendors, and agencies.
  • Coordinate with various other departments within the Company as needed to meet project and communications objectives while being the primary contact for all activities related to the assignment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties).
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Business, engineering, or related technical field.
  • 3+ years – Related experience.
  • Must have strong written and oral communications, business practices knowledge, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to develop and deliver projects using leading-edge technology.
  • Must demonstrate solid project management skills with ability to multi-task and manage multiple small to large projects.
  • Strong computer skills and thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Access.
  • Must reside in Southern California or be willing to relocate upon hire.
  • We offer a hybrid work environment. Although the schedule may vary, typically this will allow you to work from the office two to three days per week and work remotely on the remaining workdays.
