Who we want:
We are searching for a highly motivated, uniquely qualified leader to work closely with our CEO and executive team as Chief of Staff. From day one, the Chief of Staff will have an immediate impact on our productivity, streamlining strategic initiatives, overseeing program management, and communicating objectives between departments.
The Chief of Staff is expected to be largely responsible for completing projects without constant oversight and skilled in managing multiple tasks while meeting deadlines. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a management role, high attention to detail, and strength in leading communication and collaboration in all directions. The ideal candidate is also expected to see around corners and anticipate upcoming priorities.
Objectives of this Role
- Support the CEO as needed to help drive board-level objectives.
- Manage investor and board member relations related to ongoing fund investments and board meetings.
- Oversee strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution under the guidance of senior leadership and departmental heads.
- Assist and communicate with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation.
- Review, design, and execute on improvements to organizational structure; find and help address gaps in knowledge and skills.
- Improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity.
- Utilize proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other productivity tools to assist as needed in financial analysis, analytics, and other projects.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Serve as liaison between staff, executives, senior leaders, and CEO, regarding company climate, employee well-being, project updates, proposals, and planning.
- Assist with new hires, including recruitment, documentation and onboarding; collaborate with executive team to address and resolve employee concerns.
- Oversee daily operations through collaboration with senior management and department leaders: perform an array of administrative tasks including calendar management, correspondence, maintaining hard copy and electronic files, planning and coordinating corporate meetings, and scheduling facilities.
- Build and develop relationships with all employees for increased efficiency and effective responsiveness into existing operations, and help to define new operational strategies, working with the CEO and executives on special projects.
- Maintain communication with investors and board members; coordinate, prepare for, and attend board meetings.
- Manage the launch of case offerings on the retail investor marketplace through the creation of investment summary materials and the management of different stakeholders on launch day
- Assist with ad hoc process improvement initiatives through collaboration with the necessary stakeholders, vendor research and outreach, and evaluation of potential solutions against the necessary criteria
- Complete ad hoc analyses of internal business data related to the firm’s track record, investment portfolio, and/or marketplace activity
- Support business development through the management and/or execution of research efforts to identify supplemental attorney contacts
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
- Self-starter who works diligently from start to finish
- Proven experience organizing and directing multiple teams and departments
- Excellent communicator in written and verbal form
- Extremely versatile, dedicated to efficient productivity

- Two-year commitment strongly preferred
- Proven success in a project coordination role
- Nimble business mind with a focus on developing creative solutions
- Strong project reporting skills, with a focus on interdepartmental communication
- Ability to learn new topics quickly and find answers independently, thereby enhancing CEO’s productivity
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to switch between unrelated tasks
Preferred Experience
- Experience with data analysis (Google sheets, Excel)
- Experience with budget management
- Consulting experience with a focus on operations management
- Proven success in a project coordination role
Salary and Benefits
- $110,000 – $130,000 depending on experience
