Part-Time Chief of Staff
Job Description
AssembleHR is looking for an energetic, dynamic and strategic Chief of Staff who is organized and obsessed with details and helping to grow our company as we undergo transformational growth.
You can expect to (Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with leadership team members to determine and prioritize business strategies.
- Work with the leadership to establish annual, quarterly, and monthly priorities and facilitate workflows advancing them.
- Drive efforts improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the Assemble HR team.
- Support the sales process by managing our client acquisition pipeline and executing proposals and contracts.
- Write, edit and publish all internal and client facing communications.
- Lead and organize Assemble HR Events and Meetings with a focus on energy and fun.
What we expect from you:
- You have 5 years’ experience in strategy, operations and communications.
- You have experience in or a desire to work in a start-up environment.
- You know what it means to be three steps ahead and people trust you to lead them through complex challenges.
- You are obsessed with details and have exceptional communications and writing skills
- You can conduct yourself with the utmost professionalism and can handle confidential information with a high level of discretion and care
- You are a problem solver with a can-do outlook and know how to prioritize internally with team members and externally with clients
- You can interact with anyone – from the CEO to someone just starting out, you are confident and relatable.
- You never shy away from a difficult conversation and can navigate conflict by asking questions, challenging thoughts, being candid and providing feedback.
- You are comfortable with ambiguity and can stay present under stress, maintain composure, make decisions in the moment
- You are flexible with availability to work approximately 20 – 24 hours per week
