Job Description:
The Catering Coordinator at NWFSC plays an important role in creating and executing interdepartmental college catering events. In addition, the Catering Coordinator assists in overseeing Raider’s Café product preparation on a daily basis.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute all college-wide catering events
- Supervise Raider’s Café daily static menu product preparation
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high standards of service
- Collaborate with the culinary team to oversee food presentation
- Maintain catering equipment/inventory
- Handle any guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally
- Assists with Raider’s Café daily operations as required
- Creates catering invoices and submits them to the Director
- Assists in food ordering requirements to cover catering events with Raider’s Manager

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a role within catering operations in a private or corporate foodservice operation, hotel, or restaurant setting
- High School Diploma or GED required, Associate Degree in Culinary Arts preferred
- Strong knowledge of catering operations, catering services, and food industry standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective guest relations
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications
