Full-Time Call Center Representative
Job Description
- Proactively manage shipments from order creation through completion
- Foster relationships with capacity providers and customers
- Schedule pickup and delivery appointment times; use discretion and insight when considering all factors affecting timeframe
- Research and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Ensure all parties are informed of critical information
- Track and trace shipments that are under truck dispatch and/or moving on the CSXI rail network
- Collaborate with Railroad Customer Service Teams
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of Customer Service Call Center experience
- Transportation logistics experience
- Ability to quickly pivot from one task to another and reprioritize throughout the day
- Excellent customer service, communication, and negotiation skills
- Collaborative team player and relationship builder
- Eager to learn and open to different methods of execution
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong typing skills and technically savvy
- Ability to read, speak, write, and understand English in a professional manner
- In-depth knowledge of intermodal operations
