Full-Time Cafe Manager
Job Description
- Taking customer orders and preparing coffee beverages according to standardized recipes and directions.
- Replenishing food items and ensuring product is stocked to appropriate levels.
- Storing food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage.
- Cleaning work areas, equipment and utensils and maintaining excellent customer service and a positive demeanor.
- Premium concierge/white glove services for the 3rd party client, their visitors, guests, clients, office staff and building tenants.
- Duties may also include the scheduling and coordination of special events and food trucks and the supervision of a cooperative kitchen space.
- Promotes a positive work environment.
- Prepare and provide weekly reporting of work progress to the management team.
- Perform other administrative tasks for the Facilities Department as requested.
- Experience in food services with a customer service role highly preferred but not required.
- Retail or hotel experience a plus.
- Strong verbal skills. Must be professional and courteous.
- Requires continuous standing and frequent bending.
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates or college degree is preferable.
- Proficient in MS Office (Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfortable with computers and learning new software/applications.
- Must be a team player. Able to assist Property Manager and facilities team in all functions.
- Should be comfortable with all general office administrative duties involved with the position.
- Must be available to work after hours occasionally (may include overtime).
