Full-Time CADD Engineer – Entry Level
Job Description
- Assisting in developing and delivering CADD training sessions and materials.
- Providing hands-on assistance during trainings and gather feedback for improvement.
- Helping troubleshoot and resolve CADD software issues affecting project workflows.
- Testing new workflows and configurations to ensure compatibility with standards.
- Drafting and updating guidance documents, user guides, and reference sheets.
- Collaborating on reviewing and refining documents for clarity and accuracy.
- Providing first-level support for CADD-related issues and tracking resolution progress.
- Collecting user input on challenges to improve support services.
- Maintaining and updating CADD resources on the website and SharePoint.
- Organizing and creating content addressing common issues and questions.
- Participating in team meetings and discussions to support workflow improvements.
- Coordinating with stakeholders to gather input on CADD needs.
- Staying updated on CADD software features and best practices.
- Engaging in training and professional development opportunities.
- Knowledge and understanding of CADD tools, such as Bentley OpenRoads, OpenBridge, ProjectWise, and SharePoint.
- Knowledge of general engineering and design concepts.
- Skills drafting/editing documents, presentations, or other learning resources.
- Knowledge of how to troubleshoot software issues or provide basic technical assistance.
- Experience managing multiple tasks, setting priorities, meeting deadlines, and working in a collaborative environment.
- Experience supporting training sessions, workshops, or educational settings.
- The ability to identify issues and assist in developing practical solutions to support project workflows.
- Experience using your attention-to-detail skills developing documents and ensuring content accuracy.
- Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and best practices related to CADD support and project delivery.
- Experience using your strong verbal and written communication skills with varied individuals to effectively assist users and contribute to training and documentation.
- Experience using your strong interpersonal skills and working with others in a team environment.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering; or
- An equivalent combination of training and experience.
- We may require registration as a professional engineer with the NC Board of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors.
