Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed design drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software. This role requires a strong understanding of drafting principles, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with engineers and architects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Detailed Drawings: Create detailed and accurate CAD drawings based on specifications and calculations provided by engineers and architects.
- Revise and Update Plans: Make necessary changes and updates to existing drawings as needed, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Collaborate with Team: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure that drawings meet the project specifications and timelines.
- Maintain Documentation: Organize and maintain CAD files and documentation for easy retrieval and reference.
- Quality Control: Review and verify drawings for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with design standards and regulations.
- Assist in Project Coordination: Participate in project meetings and provide support to ensure that drafting tasks align with overall project goals.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree or diploma in CAD drafting, engineering technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in CAD drafting, preferably in [relevant industry].
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
