Full-Time Buy-In Senior Analyst
Job Description
Company team & role: Pershing|BNYM facilitates many aspects of the lifecycle of a securities transaction on behalf of our clients and their investors. One of those aspects is trade clearance and settlement. The Buy-In team is responsible for troubleshooting the various reasons that may cause a trade to not settle, and take action to ensure we and our clients remain compliant with industry regulations.
A senior analyst on the Buy-In Operations team will be will provided with an opportunity to understand the securities clearance and settlement processes. We are a dynamic team that together supports many regulatory requirements and timely resolution of failures to receive and deliver securities. The Buy-In team collaborates with all operational areas to problem-solve and minimize risk to Pershing|BNYM and our clients.
Responsibilities: In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Developing deep relationships with operational teams and our clients
- Building in-depth knowledge of securities settlement, industry utilities, and the rules that govern our business
- Independently handling designated assignments
- Identifying risk and exposure for escalation
- Understanding and complying with applicable industry regulations

The successful candidate will demonstrate/possess:
- High school/secondary school or the equivalent combination of education experience is required
- 5+ years of total work experience in brokerage processing preferred
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office product suite preferred
- Understanding of basic accounting principles preferred
- The desire to collaborate and problem solve preferred
