Job Summary
- This position is within the Network Business Operations Projects and Capabilities Management team that is responsible for leading the planning, development, and execution of provider projects to meet product, segment, network, or market needs.
- Business Specialist will be leading the documentation associated with the business operational readiness and rollout of the system and tool functionalities implementations.
- The Business Specialists collaborates with the Business Project Manager and Business Owner(s)/Key Stakeholders to have all the communication and training materials prepared and to also facilitate training across all impacted business areas.
Essential Functions
- The essential functions listed represent the major duties of this role, additional duties may be assigned
- Key participant on the operational readiness implementation team as the Project Specialist
- Ensures that the appropriate planning, preparation, and execution of various testing activities is conducted for the work effort.
- Works closely with business project manager, business owner(s) and other key stakeholders to plan, prioritize and lead/support communication/training plans in coordination with implementation timelines
- Develops, creates, presents, and facilitates presentations and training for a variety of audiences.
- Assists in business process documentation as needed for new technology.
Requirements:
- 4+ years related work experience or equivalent combination of transferable experience and education.
- Related Bachelor’s degree or additional related equivalent work experience
- Strong analytic capabilities with expertise and comfort in document creation in multiple format types (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and communication of required process changes
- Exceptional communication competencies, including presentations skills
Preferred:
- PMP – Project Management Professional
- Experience with process mapping (includes use of Visio) to facilitate change discussions
- Experience in vendor and/or provider relationship management
- Familiarity with the health care industry
