Business Services Assistant– London, Chiswick – £25,000k
Yolk Recruitment Public Sector and Not-for-Profit is supporting a leading stem cell charity in their search for a Business Services Assistant to join their team. As the Business Services Assistant you will play an integral role in recruiting more individuals to the blood stem cell register by working with patients and their families to generate successful appeals, and working with wider community groups, universities, volunteers and partners to ensure the register is reflective of the diversity in the UK.
This role is a hybrid role where they work 3 days in the office and 2 remotely. Their offices are based in Chiswick, where they work a standard 9-5 working day.

What you will be doing as Business Services Assistant:
- Multifaceted Support: Be the linchpin in supporting several teams, including Donor Recruitment by assisting in packing and unpacking boxes for donor drives, monitoring stock levels, and handling logistics duties such as daily post and swab sorting. Additionally, provide IT support by preparing meeting rooms and addressing low-level IT issues. Collaborate with the Medical Services team to assist with donor claims.
- Logistics Coordination: Play a pivotal role in the Logistics Department by managing tasks such as packing CT boxes, swab dispatches, stocktaking, and other minor duties that ensure smooth operations.
- Contribute to IT Readiness: Ensure all meeting rooms are prepared for use and offer support for low-level IT issues, ensuring a seamless working environment for all.
What you will need as Business Services Assistant:
- Customer Service Excellence: You have a proven track record of delivering outstanding customer service in an office-based role, demonstrating a friendly and polite telephone manner.
- Organizational Skills: Your ability to stay well-organised with a strong attention to detail will be vital in managing various tasks efficiently.
- Interpersonal Abilities: You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, making you a valuable asset for collaborating within a team and independently.
