The Provider Interoperability Project Manager will work closely with our Providers to drive bi-directional Clinical Information Exchange participation. The Provider Interoperability Project Manager will work with our IT partners and take a lead role in various department and enterprise projects to help us achieve improved process and ensure we are aligned to meet our goals.
The Provider Interoperability Project Manager gains in depth knowledge of business areas and their functions, and crosses divisional process, and entity lines to influence change and implement integrated solutions for the exchange of clinical information.
Essential Functions
• Coordinates and Partners with Clinical Information Exchange senior manager and capability teams to deliver on vision, road map, and growth opportunities
• Provider Engagement- Leads communication outreach to Key Providers to gain their participation in bi-directional Clinical Information Exchange. Must have the ability to present to all levels of the organization and demonstrate full understanding of the program.
• Acts as Point of Contact for participating providers during the implementation process and reports key updates to leadership
• Has frequent engagement with internal and external business partners to obtain and share information for influencing decisions, selling concepts, and/or providing advice and counsel that impacts business objectives
• Understands strategic direction of impacted business areas and the organization
• Ability to drive collaboration amongst cross functional teams/departments
Required Work Experience
• 6+ years related work experience in Project Management and Communications or equivalent combination of transferable experience and education.
• 3+ years leading initiatives with experience driving results across multiple organizations
• 3+ years working experience in Healthcare as PM or operational role (physician, facility, payer)
• Strong Verbal and Written Communication skills
• Experience communicating and presenting to Providers
• Outstanding Presentation design skills using PowerPoint and other artifacts (charts, graphs)
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work in an agile and iterative environment
• Understanding of projects with technology components (e.g., implementation life cycle: requirements gathering, design, testing, etc.
Required Education
Related Bachelor’s degree or additional related equivalent work experience
Preferred Skill sets
Working knowledge of Clinical Data Integrations via HL7 or other standards
Required:
– Knowledge with Project management
– Detail Oriented
– Strong Verbal and Written Communication skills
– Understanding the differences between physician, facility, payer from a operational role
Preferred:
– Healthcare experience
-PMP certified
-Working knowledge of Clinical Data Integrations via HL7 or other standards
