ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Business Operations team bridges the gaps between finance, product, marketing, and engineering by building and managing relationships with many of our key vendors (including our partner banks, networks processor and third-party payment or data providers) and supporting new product initiatives through partnerships and competitive intelligence.
Current is looking for a Business Operations Lead to join our team in New York. The Business Operations Lead will serve as the operational lynchpin between our internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless implementation of our products and services.
This means regularly interfacing internally with our finance, product, marketing and engineering teams and coordinating externally with existing and prospective vendors to ensure smooth onboarding and continued operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage External Relationships – establish and maintain strong relationships with our ATM and cash load networks, API technology vendors and other partners.
- Manage ongoing implementation and maintenance with our partners, holding them accountable to plans and timelines.
- Set operational reporting requirements & cadence aligned with our performance SLAs for vendors and partners
- Develop and execute cross-functional strategic initiatives to drive growth and create and scale world-class experiences for our members
- Glean deeper insights and surface opportunities to improve our operations, and lead the cross-functional execution of improvements to critical user journeys.
- Identify, plan, and communicate risks and roadblocks to the engineering and product teams.
- Monitor and provide hands-on recording, tracking, and reporting for meetings, project activities, and action items.
- Drive continuous improvement throughout project management processes, feeding ideas, recommendation of tools used & updating processes where needed.
ABOUT YOU:
- 4+ years of experience in financial services, consulting and/or investment banking
- Experience with SQL and Looker
- Experience running complex, cross-functional projects and initiatives; demonstrated track record of multi-tasking and coordinating efforts across multiple stakeholders
- Experience working closely with product managers through the lifecycle of product development to advocate for the customer while driving business outcomes in alignment with product & feature roll-outs
- Attention to detail
- Vendor management experience a plus
