Full-Time Business Development Manager
Job Description
Are you an experienced business development professional with a passion for building meaningful and long-lasting business relationships?
Our client, an internationally acclaimed professional membership association, is now hiring for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their growing team. This role offers:
– Permanent/full time hours (35 per week)
– Hybrid working arrangement: home working/London
– £39,900/annum basic salary; £43,415/annum for London based candidates
The Role
The main purpose of this role is deliver the IFoA business development strategy for employers in the UK. This includes:
– Supporting the delivery of the UK market plan
– Identifying and engaging with potential employers
– Understanding members needs and enhancing member value
– Creating a sustainable pipeline of new members in the region
– Developing relationships with senior decision-makers
Additional responsibilities include:
– Developing and implementing account plans for employers
– Stakeholder mapping and lead engagement
The Person
The ideal candidate will have:
– Strong customer influencing skills in a professional services or equivalent environment
– B2B and B2C relationship / account management experience
– Ability to interact and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
– Experience in a member service organization or professional certification body
