We have an opportunity for a highly motivated and ambitious Business Consultant within UK. As an HBS Business Consultant, you’ll be developing and winning new business in the Critical Infrastructure Protection sector, which includes transportation, utilities, government and defence. You will specialise in key infrastructure systems in the built environment, including but not limited to; Fire, Security, Access and BMS with a strong-bias on leading SaaS and IoT propositions. We want a strong new business sales individual who is self-motivated, with a clear market penetration strategy to develop great customer relationships that directly lead to a robust sales pipeline, ensuring exceptional wins.
What will you be doing every single day?
You will be researching, engaging and networking with prospective clients and following up with regular meetings to begin developing relationships.
You’ll map out your target vertical market, developing a strong and measurable opportunity pipeline underpinned by exceptional customer relationships.
You’ll be attending industry and sector-related events to network and gain more market insight.
You’ll work with multiple functions across the HBS organisation to ensure delivery of high quality customer propositions.
What skills and requirements do you need?
We’re looking for a strong ‘sales hunter’ mentality.
You’ll have impeccable emotional intelligence to ensure you build strong and lasting client relationships
Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to demonstrate active listening skills
You will have a successful and consistent track record in new business sales and value-based upselling coupled with strong commercial acumen
You will ideally have a deep understanding of building services within the built environment, and a knowledge of SaaS and IoT-led solutions.
