A Business Analyst Intern for our Enterprise Project Management department! This is an entry level position, and if you are ready to advance your career then this may be the position for you! Under direct supervision of the VP of EPMO and/or Business Analyst (BA), you will learn the fundamentals of Project Management and Business Analysis, to expose you to daily routines and procedures of the department. Additionally, you will gain a foundational understanding the skills and competencies that are essential for individual and organizational success, as well as be provided learning opportunities to better understand the Credit Union’s business operations and composition. As you launch your career as a business analyst at Sound Credit Union, you will focus on improving your BA skills by discovering and solving real world problems, and business cases to improve the stakeholder’s experience. A key component of your role is to identify process and system improvement opportunities by monitoring day to day operations and collaborating with internal teams. You will engage with stakeholders and take online classes to ensure they leave Sound with a viable pathway into a career as a business analyst. This will culminate into a project presentation. In which you will carry out from start to finish.

As a Business Analyst Intern you will…
- Provide high priority to member satisfaction; act in accordance with Sound Credit Union’s Brand expectations.
- Actively participate in meetings and training programs as required.
- Maintain intra/interdepartmental workflow by providing information to and cooperating with teammates and working on variety of special department projects as needed.
- Maintain and own a project which advances the goals of the EPMO.

- Coordinate and schedule large intradepartmental meetings.
- Audit department document and draft process steps and requirements and make recommendations as needed.
- Answer emails, instant messages, phone inquiries, direct calls, and aid as necessary.
- Perform clerical duties, maintain electronic files, and organize electronic documents as needed.
- Create and organize department documents and reports, as requested.
- Meet regularly with Manager to provide status of Learning Plan and Objectives; provide final report at end of internship term.
- Complete tasks and project activities timely and accurately as assigned.
Our ideal candidate will bring to the team…
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program and have completed one full year of study;
- 18 years of age or older;
- A minimum 2GPA; and
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Sound will not assist in applying for Visas or altering the Visa status of applicants.
- Strong service-level focus; ability to be flexible and responsive to provide the highest quality of service to internal and external members.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including listening, oral, and written skills.
- Proficient computer and typing skills; ability to adapt quickly to the use of software, systems, and technology, including advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite specifically Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Your compensation:
Starts at $20/Hour – Depends on experience!

Individual offers are made dependent upon a candidate’s prior experience and education level as it pertains their role. Your hours:
Up to 40 hours/week depending on availability.
Part-Time/20 hours per week or Full-Time/40 hours per week. Exceptions may be granted to extend the term for up to 3 additional months depending on Credit Union need, student availability, and approval of management.
