Full-Time Business Analyst
Job Description
The Business Analyst will be responsible for helping to streamline the communication between the operations and sales teams related to the order fulfillment process. The person will also contribute to automating processes including those related to customer’s OTIF claims and master data maintenance.
· Generates weekly management reports including order backlog, inventory, and sales
· Works with the sales and customer service teams to communicate priorities and backorder ETA’s
· Updates ERP system with latest purchase order item’s arrival date and tracking number
· Updates item master data with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
· Collects and enters information in customer dispute portals as needed
· Provides input to drive process improvements and automation
· Creates or updates work instructions, training documents, and procedures as needed
· Answers promptly to requests in a respectful and caring manner
· Manages multiple tasks and projects daily
· Bachelor’s degree preferred
· 1-2 years’ experience working in sales support or a related field
· Strong analytical mindset
· Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
· Self-motivated, action-oriented, multi-tasking individual with a great sense of urgency and follow-through
· Proficient with MS Office applications (especially Excel) – Advance level in excel.
· Familiar with CRM systems and practices. SAP Business One or Odoo preferred
· Ability to prepare and maintain timely, accurate, and complete records.
