Job Description
Employees of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia (Assembly) provide professional non-partisan services to support the democratic institution of Parliament and its members through procedural advice, administrative support and information services. The Assembly is an autonomous employer, separate from the administrative framework of B.C. government ministries and agencies.
Legislative Facility Services is seeking a client-focused, efficient, and organized individual for the regular full-time position of Building Mechanical Maintenance Technician.
Reporting to the Legislative Facility Services Manager, the Building Mechanical Maintenance Technician (BMMT) is responsible for performing various maintenance projects according to deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and planning work activities and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan.
